Don't leave your wall naked!
You can create a feature wall in your space using picture frames and make it a focal point view. It is an easy and inexpensive way to add a touch of design whilst showcasing your pictures and prints. Mixing different frame sizes, shapes, styles, and colors can make any wall pop. It's a really fun way to decorate your space just like playing jigsaw; arranging the frames to make sure it fits each other nicely.

You don't need to crack your wallet to do this, you
could just gather up old frames you found kept away in your storage. Perhaps you could just get the cheap ones at RM1.99 or RM4.99 stores. Or if you are an IKEA junkie, go grab their frames which definitely gives you pages of choices to choose from.
I really love the idea of combining different frame 'mixtures' onto the wall. It looks more creative and homely rather than gallery/showroom like.
From my reading, Here is an easy way on how to arrange frames, so that you won't break a sweat on this project.

#1: Lay out the frames on the floor first, in way they should hang on the wall. Get on your creative boots to mix the frames. (I don't believe with other rules e.g. the gap should be the same, larger ones in the middle...bla..bla...) It's your space, enjoy the freedom of it. Also, add in any items which is not framed such as canvas prints/clock/ mirror/ postcards, anything at all!

#2 : Then cut out newspapers to the exact shape of the frames and make an X mark where the nail should go for each frame. Use sticky tape to paste the newspaper cut outs on the wall the way you've arranged. This will be a template.

#3 : Knock the nail right where you've marked X. (or you can use drill). Then, just pulled off the newspaper. Wallah...kacang jer!! Finish off with all the templates.
Having a 'wall of
frames' in your living room is a way to help you entertain your guest. It would
be much easier for them to gaze through your photos, and surely could spark
conversations. Give a chance for your images to shine and not get them lost on
your hard drive.
Here's a very
interesting wall of frames i found while googling. They call it Wall-O-Love. Each piece of framed photo/ canvas/items they
hang, have it's own story. They even take you on a tour of the wall. They did
not only hang frames, but also mixed with postcards, license plate, collages,
3d flowers and butterfly, old record cover and even greeting card. Barulah chara...beb!!
